AVN944
Solid Tumors
The initial solid tumor Phase II study of AVN944 has been initiated and is accruing patients. The study will test AVN944 in combination with Gemcitabine as a first line treatment in patients with pancreatic cancer. The trial is being conducted in two parts (Part A and Part B), both using an open-label, non-controlled design. Part A is the dose-finding phase with a primary objective to determine the maximum tolerated dose or effective biologic dose of AVN944 in combination with Gemcitabine. Approximately 15-20 patients will be enrolled in Part A. Part B is designed to establish the efficacy and safety of the AVN944/Gemcitabine combination and approximately 110-120 patients will be enrolled.
